Adverse Childhood Experiences

Research has shown that adverse childhood experiences can lead to negative emotional and physical health later in life. It can be helpful to know your ACEs score to inspire embarking on the journey towards repair and greater health. It can be a relief to know that there was and is nothing inherently wrong with you. Adaptive measures taken early in our lives may have had the consequence of negative future health outcomes. There is hope for mitigating the impact of adverse childhood experiences through intentional healing work and new supportive lifestyle choices.
