EFT Supervision

Required EFT Training:

1. An ICEEFT-endorsed EFT Externship led by a Certified EFT Trainer: 24 hours over 4 days. 

2. Core Skills Training led by a Certified EFT Trainer, 24 or 48 hours. 

The EFT Certification Process:

1. Supervisor provides supervision to Therapist focusing on a specific modality attending to the certification guidelines (minimum 8 hours)

2. Supervisor reviews and approves 2 video examples demonstrating EFT macro and micro skills in specific modality.

a. Supervisor and Therapist select one video example for trainer review and contact ICEEFT to post through Hightail.

b. Therapist and Supervisor invite Trainer to review and provide feedback on the posted video example.

c. Supervisor and Therapist review Trainer feedback.

3.  Supervisor reviews Therapist certification documentation and completes certification checklist and signs.

4. Therapist uploads certification documentation and signed checklist/recommendation.

5. ICEEFT reviews documentation, issues certificate and posts status to ICEEFT.com.
